The surgical room at ACJ provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. |   | Our highly qualified and experienced team of veterinarians are all competent surgeons. Our fully equipped surgery room follows the highest hygiene standards and provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Our clinic has a modern anesthetic machine, which is imported from Holland, using isoflorane anesthetic gas. All patients under general anesthetic are monitored with tracking equipment, which reads the heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature and oxygen saturation | Surgical admission Patients are admitted for surgery on the agreed time and day that you have discussed with your veterinarian. Do not feed your pet for 8 hours before surgery. Encourage your pet to go to the toilet before admission. Pre-anesthetic blood testing is available upon request. Discuss with our veterinarians when your pet can go home. Sometimes they can be taken home several hours after the surgery but sometimes they may be required to stay overnight depending on the type of surgery and the condition of your pet. |
