However, I have fed him dry and wet cat food [the yellow one, i forgot the name, it's not Meow-Mix]. The first time he pooped, it was fairly alright. But just now, he pooped and there was a bit of blood in it. I googled and I found out from other sources that he could possibly have worms. Is that true? He has a sister that I got on the same day. She did not undergo what he did. They both eat the same food, and drink the same water, etc. She does not poop with a bit of blood in it. In general, all stray cats and dogs need to be de-wormed immediately after you have taken them from the streets since they all suffer from worms. The dosage of the de-worming medicine depends on the weight of the animal. Also if they have many worms and different types of worms, we usually give them the de-worming medicine 3 days in a row. I highly recomment to bring them to the vet just for a general check and also to be de-wormed. Please kindly send your photo together with the kitten.
